HIGHLIGHTS

In the process of once again achieving a great performance, Sébastien Ogier damaged an element at the front of his Yaris, probably after contact with a stone. The Frenchman is stopped in the last portion of this special and must give up.

Rather disappointing so far, Kalle Rovanperä woke up at the right time and achieved a remarkable time to come back to just 1s8 behind Elfyn Evans, still leader. Behind them, Ott Tänak made a small mistake at the start of the special and moved to third overall. Behind this trio, Sami Pajari is less comfortable than yesterday and even sees Thierry Neuville come back to just nine seconds.

For his part, Adrien Fourmaux set a good fourth time and came back very close to Lappi, while also hoping to catch up with his Munster teammate.

The next stage promises to be decisive with particularly significant tire wear.

A.Fourmaux 15:35.6	I think he (Seb) hit a big stone while braking and he couldn’t turn afterwards. I’m really sorry for him. I’m pretty confident about the tires. We started 3rd on the road, now 2nd, and the wear is less important for us.
