Elye Wahi was born in Courcouronnes, in the Paris suburbs, in 2003 and began his football career in the youth system of SM Caen. He made his professional debut with the Montpellier HSC in December 2020, a few days before his 18th birthday. For the club in the south of France, Wahi scored 32 goals and provided nine assists in 92 competition games. In the 2022/23 season, the Frenchman was one of the country's best scorers with 19 goals and six assists. The striker then joined RC Lens, where he continued his successful career and scored a total of twelve goals (four assists) in 36 competition games.
Olympique de Marseille recruited the 22 -year -old last summer. He scored three goals in 13 Ligue 1 matches (a decisive pass).
Now, the Frenchman goes abroad for the first time in his career, at Eintracht Frankfurt, where he will find, among other things, his compatriot Hugo Ekitike in attack. Elye Wahi receives jersey number 17 from the Bundesliga de Hesse club.
