Aston Villa announces the signing of young all-rounder Andrés García. The coach, Unai Emery, brought the Spaniard from Levante.
García's coach at Levante had confirmed his departure earlier. However, the official announcement from the English club was missing. Now it's done. Aston Villa announce the 21-year-old.
García is Emery's second recruit, after the arrival of Donyell Malan from Borussia Dortmund. The amount of the transfer would bearound 7 million euros.
Who is Andrés García?
Born in ValenciaGarcía began his career at theInter San Jose before joining Levante in 2021. The young all-rounder who can evolve as side or even right winger made his senior debut in 2022.
-García has continued to impress this season. In 22 League 2 matcheshe helped Levante rise to fourth place in the championship. The young Spaniard also signed three goals and as many assists.
Garcia is known for his vitesse and his desire to progress on the field. He is often used as a right back. “It’s for me a huge honor to be able to defend these colors. I look forward to the time when I can do it”he told avfc.co.uk.
The Spaniard could make his debut this weekend. Aston Villa host West Ham United at Villa Park on Sunday afternoon.
