A little less than two weeks remain for the clubs to finalize their winter transfer window, and among the big issues in Ligue 1, that of the OM striker will become hot. The Marseille club is heading strongly towards the departure of Elye Wahi, the scorer who arrived from Lens for 25 million euros last summer. And it is towards Frankfurt that Wahi is heading, with OM agreeing to sell his player as soon as he finds himself there, recovering the investment invested last summer.
The Wahi clan accuses OM, the club denies
Officially, OM did not want him to leave and it was the offers that changed the situation. But the reality is undoubtedly different. The Wahi clan ensures that a decisive meeting took place last week between the club, the agent and the mother of the Marseille striker. Meeting during which the Wahi clan would have been pushed to look for a future elsewhere by a club which no longer saw Wahi in the project. A version nevertheless denied by OM.
However, Provence also assures that Roberto De Zerbi would have changed his tone with the striker recently. After having defended him publicly, RDZ would have “hardly reassured” the player in private during an interview requested by the player. A tipping point which would have made the player understand that it was better to seek a future elsewhere.
