Despite a double course in Spanish/Communication, I decided to take control of my dreams by heading into journalism. With a master's degree in sports journalism, I cover sports and football news with as much admiration for transfer periods, when a club must make crucial choices for next season.

In December, Nuno Mendes caused a sensation by demanding his departure from PSG. If he may have been unhappy with his situation in , the Portuguese would now be inclined to an extension within the capital club. And clearly, its recent use by Luis Enrique would have played a big role in this change of heart.

The PSG is having a very busy month of January. If the capital club announced this Friday the arrival of the Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskheliainternally, Parisian leaders are still trying to reach an agreement with Nuno Mendes for an extension of the latter.

Nuno Mendes unhappy with its use

While a verbal agreement was reached between the two parties last November, Nuno Mendes then made an about-face. Worse, the 22-year-old left side had requested his departure in January, he who is of interest Manchester United and the Real Madrid notably. As reported the Team this Saturday, Nuno Mendes was unhappy with his situation PSGand in particular its use by Luis Enrique.

Luis Enrique's tactical change will make it extend?

But everything has changed in the last few days. The Team announces that the clan Nuno Mendes is now open to an extension to PSG ! One of the main reasons for this turnaround in the situation lies in the tactical change made by Luis Enrique over the last few weeks. Nuno Mendes now plays much higher up the pitch, with one of the three midfielders moving down to cover the left axis when the Portuguese is at the forefront.
