This Sunday afternoon's meeting against Nantes is crucial for ASSE. Dylan Batubinsika presented himself at a press conference this Friday. The opportunity to answer questions from the journalists present. Excerpts.
Dylan Batubinsika (ASSE player): “I'm happy to have had a lot of minutes since the start of the championship. Afterwards, I am not satisfied. I want to be a real boss even more. Now that I have a little more experience in Ligue 1, since we went through the entire first leg, I know what to expect before the matches.
So, it's up to me now to be able to be even more enterprising in my game and if I can help my teammates next to me and perhaps act as boss of the defense, that's a pleasure. In any case, I'm ready for that and I'm ready to give my best for this second part of the season and to be able to achieve our goals.”
The Nantes match harder than the one against PSG?
Dylan Batubinsika (ASSE player): “You have to concentrate. As we have been able to say, the Paris Saint-Germain match was a gala match where victory was necessarily difficult to achieve. But there, obviously, we are playing against a team which is a little more in our championship. Today, we are very close in the ranking since we have the same number of points. So, it's a toss-up match at the moment, but in truth, nothing will be set in stone at the end of the match. Now, we all know, we are all aware that it is a match to be won in order to be able, for us, in the head, to be good and to achieve a good ranking, because that could be important in the event of a victory.
-They had some good matches, so we have to expect a big battle. For sure, this Sunday is not going to be an easy match. If we think it will be easier than the match against PSG, we are wrong. Because it will be just as complicated. We will have an opponent who absolutely wants to beat us. And it’s up to us to respond. We'll be home. We won't have our kops. But we are on our lawn. We're at home. So we have to take points anyway.”
