Antoine Kombouaré aspires to strengthen himself with at least three new players this winter. The FC Nantes coach has also relaunched his management after the elimination in the Coupe de France against Brest (2-1). The Canaries need new players, in each sector of the game. And particularly in the middle of the field, where the Nantes players struggle to control their opponents.
-Coquelin, the tile
On the bargain market, Antoine Kombouaré has identified an experienced midfielder, free of any contract. This is Francis Coquelin, former Arsenal nugget, who had the heyday of Villarreal in Spain. Expected to visit the facilities and head towards a signing, Coquelin was injured a few days before. A muscular problem which froze the file for his arrival.
A file still possible?
However, the Coquelin file is not completely closed. FC Nantes continues to communicate with the representatives of the player, who wishes to return to his native region. At 33, Francis Coquelin would be a good move for the Canaries looking for experience and versatility. A duty player, good recovery player and endowed with a large volume of play, Coquelin can do good for Nantes in this second part of the high-stakes season.
