Ernest Nuamah arrived in Lyon in August 2023 coming from Molenbeek, another of John's clubs Weaver. During his stay in Lyon, the 21-year-old played total 2806 minutes. He marked 4 goals and delivered 3 assists.
This season, Nuamah appeared 18 times, including 5 tenures. He only scored one goal. It was last December 12 against Frankfurt in the Europa League.
