A very important player for LOSC in recent seasons, Ismaily has only played nine matches since the start of the season, the fault of a meniscus injury which deprived him of competition for almost three months. And while Gabriel Gudmundsson is uncertain for the reception of Nice, the return to a good level of the Brazilian side does not displease Bruno Genesio.
Ismaily, X factor of the return phase?
“Isma had a long injury. It took him a little while to get back into rhythm, which is normal. We had the case with Hakon (Haraldsson), we had it a little with Angel (Gomes). He made a very good debut in Marseille. We know that he is a very interesting player technically and offensively. I also liked his tactical and defensive discipline during the match. It's encouraging and interesting to have him at this level. He's such a discreet and endearing boy that it makes me even more happy with him. »
