PSG is crazy about Jhon Duran, the Colombian striker who is a hit in the Premier League with Aston Villa and the capital club has no shortage of ideas to get the 21-year-old striker at a lower cost.
Determined to part ways with Randal Kolo Muani as quickly as possible, Paris Saint-Germain has ticked off several names to strengthen its attack during the winter transfer window. Negotiations have begun with Napoli for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, but the Georgian international is not the only player the capital club is interested in. Jhon Duran, who is having an XXL start to the season with Aston Villa, has also aroused the desire of the Bleu et Rouge club. But unsurprisingly, the British club is very greedy when it comes to compensation for a potential transfer of the Colombian player. Journalist Ben Jacobs reveals that the current 8th in the Premier League is demanding nearly 95 million euros for the transfer of Jhon Duran.
Duran to PSG, Asensio to Aston Villa?
A sum that Paris Saint-Germain will not put on the table this January. This does not mean, however, that the capital club is definitively giving up on the man who has already scored 12 goals in the Premier League since the start of the season. And for good reason, the English journalist indicates that PSG would like to include Kolo Muani or Asensio in the deal in order to lower the score. A method similar to that used by PSG in the Khvicha Kvaratskhelia case, and which could work at the cost of an exchange with Naples including Milan Skriniar.
As for Kolo Muani, his future is more likely to be written at Juventus Turin or even Tottenham. On the other hand, a potential deal including Marco Asensio cannot be ruled out. As revealed by RMC on Friday, the Spanish international who has become unwanted in Paris is on Aston Villa’s shortlist in order to strengthen the offensive sector of Unai Emery’s team. It now remains to be seen whether the former Madrilenian will be excited by the prospect of leaving PSG to join Aston Villa this winter. If so, a potential rather unexpected deal could see the light of day even if Paris SG will automatically have to return to the pot by signing a large check.
