Today in Clermont, Mory Diaw left PSG following a controversy which he would have done without. During his stay in the capital between 2009 and 2015, the doorman clashed with Ronan Le Crom, his partner, on social networks. The Parisian club tried to put out the fire before pushing him towards the exit.
Social networks have a memory and Mory Diaw learned it the hard way. The 31-year-old goalkeeper, trained at PSG and today at Clermont, had been the subject of a bad buzz. In 2015, some had fun digging up the guard’s tweets and found an attack against Ronan Le Crom, his partner to Paris.

“I admit, Ronan Le Crom (the third goalkeeper of Paris-Saint-Germain), he is paid 24,000 euros even though he does nothing…” he blurted out. Messages of a sexual or homophobic nature full of mistakes had also been unearthed.
Its extension falls through
In an interview with France Football, Diaw returned to this episode. “I was on my sofa and I see my tablet ringing non-stop. Friends call me and say, “Mory, what did you do on Twitter (now called X)?” » he declared. Youthful errors with serious consequences since, after having played the hacking card to extinguish the controversy, the PSG had decided not to extend his contract and to kick him out.
