The Victor Osimhen soap opera is back with a vengeance! While we thought the file was definitively closed, PSG returned to the charge to recruit the Nigerian striker during the winter transfer window. The latter now figures, alongside Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, among the priorities of Parisian leaders.
After failing last summer, Paris seems ready to strike hard by attempting to achieve a double transfer this winter. Regarding Kvaratskhelia, Naples is finally open to a departure, with a sum set between €80 and €90 million. However, PSG could reduce the bill by including Milan Skriniar in the operation.
Luis Campos insists on Osimhen
On the side of Osimhen, Sky Germany reports that Luis Campos remains determined to strengthen the Parisian attack with this profile, despite the reservations of Luis Enrique, who is not in favor of the arrival of a new number 9.
Loaned to Galatasaray, Osimhen shines with 13 goals and 4 assists in just 16 games this season. Although his coach wants to keep him until 2025, a clause in his contract could allow PSG to acquire him as early as January.
A clear ambition for Europe
With these two targets, Paris has clear ambitions for the second half of the season. However, even if the transfers go through, both players would not be eligible to play for PSG in the Champions League until the round of 16. A constraint which does not prevent the club from aiming high, in the hope of strengthening its squad and shining on the European scene.
