Elye Wahi could be leaving just a few months after his arrival.

According to The TeamPremier League clubs AFC Bournemouth et West Ham United are interested in signing the striker Marseille Olympic Elye Wahi – who only joined the Olympians than this summer from RC . However, no offer has yet been sent for the striker, with discussions still at a preliminary stage between the clubs involved.

The former Lens and striker has struggled to adapt to life at the Vélodrome, and has recently been overtaken by Neal Maupay as the starting striker in De Zerbi’s starting XI. Wahi, however, has played 13 games since the start of the season and has scored three goals for Roberto De Zerbi’s side.

L’Équipe reports that two factors will be decisive for a transfer to take place: the willingness of the players to seek playing time elsewhere and the ability of the Premier League team to get closer to 25 million euros more 5 million euros in bonuses spent last summer to bring Wahi from RC Lens to Marseille. A loan with purchase option or an outright transfer could be possible.
