To strengthen Antoine Kombouaré’s midfield, the leaders of FC Nantes are reportedly thinking of Jean Onana (Besiktas).
After having recorded the free arrival of Anthony Lopes from Olympique Lyonnais, FC Nantes is now looking to strengthen itself in the midfield and is reportedly targeting two Ligue 1 nuggets: Senny Mayulu (PSG) and Eliot Matazo (AS Monaco). But another profile would be studied in midfield by the Nantes leaders. It is that of Jean Onana.
Onana relaunching with the Canaries?
Indeed, according to information from Foot Mercato, the FCN would be interested in the profile of the former midfielder of LOSC, Girondins de Bordeaux, RC Lens and OM, who now plays in Turkey on the of Besiktas. Having played only three short matches since the start of the season, the last of which dates back to September 30, the Cameroonian is in a situation of failure with the Turkish club. Under contract until June 2027 with Besiktas, Jean Onana would be worth 3 million euros according to Transfermarkt. Foot Mercato specifies, moreover, that the path leading to Eliot Matazo would still be studied in parallel by the current 16th in Ligue 1.
