Negotiations are progressing well between PSG and Naples regarding a winter transfer of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The Neapolitan club has transmitted its economic demands while the Georgian’s entourage is already negotiating with PSG.
Suddenly back in PSG news, the Kvara soap opera is in full swing. And we now know more about the economic demands of Napoli. If last summer, Aurelio De Laurentiis demanded nearly 120 million euros for his Georgian international, which he absolutely wanted to keep because he had made a promise to Antonio Conte, the Neapolitan president is today less greedy.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, famous transfer window journalist from Sky Italia, Naples are now demanding 80 million euros for Kvara, ideally without any player compensation. According to this source, PSG is offering a lower amount, but negotiations will continue to try to find a positive outcome.
According to FootMercato, PSG offers a “significant” sum to Naples plus Milan Skriniar in return. The online media adds that Naples has already made a contractual offer to the Slovak central defender, offering him a lower salary than he currently receives at PSG. And Skriniar would like PSG to pay him the difference in salary, which remains to be seen.
Napoli want 80 million euros for Kvara
If L’Equipe and other media mentioned fierce English competition for PSG in the Kvara case, Fabrizio Romano assures that the Parisian club is the big favorite for the recruitment of the 23-year-old Georgian and that a “package” at 80 million of euros is under discussion between PSG and Naples.
-According to the Italian journalist, Skriniar was indeed offered to Naples as part of the Kvara deal, but the Italian club has not yet given the green light due to the Slovak’s salary considered too high, which may suggest that PSG is not inclined to compensate for the loss of salary of his central defender.
PSG progresses with Kvara’s entourage
Kvara’s entourage is already negotiating contractual terms with Parisian leaders according to Romano. Negotiations which are progressing well, which is not very surprising since the two parties had already discussed last summer and had even already reached an agreement according to certain sources.
Matteo Moretto confirms that Kvara is putting pressure on to leave Naples this winter and FM assures that the player has chosen to join PSG. It remains for PSG and Naples to find the right formula, with or without Skriniar, to arrive at this famous valuation of Kvara at €80 million, a figure which seems to be a consensus among the different sources.
