After trying different sports, Thibault turned to a career as an amateur footballer. “Things I could have done differently”

However, a transfer to a major European club did not materialize at the time, which gives him some regrets today. Indeed, for the Ligue 2 media, M'Vila explained: “ Do I regret any of my choices after my flight to Rennes? Yes of course. We always have regrets in everything. (…) These are things that I could have done differently when there were Chelsea, Arsenal, Real Madrid… It was between 19 and 22 years old. It might have been to sign for one of those clubs and take out a loan for my confirmation year in Rennes. ».

« Why didn't I want to go there? I don't know. Basically, I just wanted to play football. I wasn't aware of that. Already Rennes was not a seller, but I could have made the deal to sign for a club and be loaned to Rennes », continued Yann M’Vila.
