A major accident involving two cars occurred on the D 1016 height of Cauffry in Oise (direction Clermont-Creil), this Thursday January 2, 2025 shortly before 2 p.m.
A victim airlifted in serious condition
A side impact is believed to be the cause of the accident, while one of the two vehicles tried to enter the dual carriageway.
The accident left three people injured: two lightly injured people were evacuated by road to hospital. A more seriously affected victim was treated and transported as an absolute emergency by helicopter.
The accident in any case required cut off road traffic for two hours on this busy route towards Creildirection in which the accident occurred.
Up to 15 firefighters were on site at the height of the intervention. SAMU and police were also deployed to the scene.
