Under contract with Al-Hilal but regularly injured since his arrival in Saudi Arabia, Neymar is already thinking about his next club. The Brazilian winger is reportedly considering joining his former Barça teammates, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, in MLS side Inter Miami.
After Barcelona and PSG, Neymar will perhaps quickly cross paths with Lionel Messi again. According to information from Sky Sports in Switzerland, the Brazilian winger confirmed to his Al-Hilal teammates that he would join Inter Miami during the summer transfer window after the end of his contract.
Arriving in Saudi Arabia in 2023 after six years in Ligue 1, Neymar would therefore not intend to activate the clause to extend his lucrative contract in the Gulf for an additional year. Instead, the “Ney” would fly to the United States to reunite with several former Barça teammates.

Many former Barça players in Miami
In addition to Lionel Messi, Neymar would join Luis Suarez to reform the famous “MSN”, the nickname given to their fantastic trio in Catalonia. Considered one of the best attacks in history, the MSN made an impression at Barça between 2014 and 2017, notably with a Champions League title in 2015 under the orders of Luis Enrique.
Beyond reforming a fabulous offensive trident, Neymar would also find several players who passed through Barça by signing for Inter Miami: Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets. In the same way, the new coach of the Florida franchise is a former Blaugrana glory, Javier Mascherano, with whom Neymar played in Catalonia.
Neymar says he is happy in Saudi Arabia
This choice to leave Al-Hilal to launch an attack on MLS could come as a surprise. Despite injuries which deprived him of the field for many months in the Saudi D1, Neymar nevertheless assured RMC Sport that he was delighted in Saudi Arabia and enjoyed the local championship.
“I got to know this club, the local culture and the championship. I was very surprised by my welcome here and the goodwill of the supporters. The championship is developing, so is our team and with my family, we are certain for having made a good decision”, assured the Brazilian in an exclusive interview for the show Bartoli Time on RMC.
Before specifying: “I am really very happy here. And all the players who want to come here are surprised by the level or certain very positive aspects of this championship.”
