Warned on his goal for having chambered Gianluigi Donnarumma, Georges Mikautadze saw his club take action. OL asked the Technical Refereeing Department (DTA) to cancel the Georgian’s yellow card.

He gave a little hope to an entire collective and an entire community, but it was not enough. By cheating on Gianluigi Donnarumma in the 41st minute, Georges Mikautadze thought of breathing new life into OL against PSG. Unfortunately, other big opportunities did not emerge after this reduction in the score, whether for the Lyonnais or the Georgian. Almost 48 hours after OL’s defeat, the altercation between Mikautadze et Donnarumma continues to be talked about as was the case on the set of “As long as there are Gone”.

On the goal of number 69, the latter’s smile did not please the Parisian goalkeeper who pushed him to the ground before giving him a little slap. This attitude did not earn a red, an unacceptable decision for Nicolas Puydebois. “Any other player would have been red. Any other goalkeeper in Ligue 1 would have been sent off and it’s not normal that there are double standards because you are part of PSG. The same fault or error must result in the same sanction. Why does he have the right to impunity? This is unacceptable, unacceptable.

Our consultant was not the only one to be offended to see Benoit Bastien show so much kindness to Donnarumma with a simple yellow card. Warning to which Georges also had the right Mikautadze in this altercation, to the great amazement of the OL delegation present at the Parc des Princes. The day after this defeat, the club decided to contact the DTA in order to have the striker’s yellow card cancelled.
