On the 13th day of Ligue 1 2024-2025, Paris Saint-Germain drew 1-1 against Nantes at the Parc des Princes (PSG/Nantes video summary). Which still allows us to get ahead of the 2nd, who has changed identity.
Results of the day –
Current ranking –
PSG and Lille are failing each other.
We can't be happy about it, but it's not insignificant, PSG went from 6 to 7 points ahead with their draw against Nantes. This “limits” a little the disappointment of sharing the points with the current 17th. Which of course remains a poor performance, with still terrible inefficiency.
The big match of the day was Sunday evening between OM and Monaco, with the Marseillais who feared stalling again at home while trailing 0-1. But they have finally broken the negative cycle and won a great victory, which will give confidence.
Another Nice blow, Lyon's victory at home against Nice (4-1) to move ahead and confirm its place as a real competitor for Europe this season. On the other hand, Lille missed out in Montpellier, while the 18th took a point which could do good.
Further down in the race for Europe, Lens revived (following the 1-3 defeat against OM) with a nice victory in Reims, a 0-2 success against a direct competitor.
Rennes relaunched.
As for maintaining, Rennes was reassured in the manner with coach Jorge Sampaoli: 5-0 victory against Saint-Etienne, who took a blow to the head even though it was a good period.
Angers also knew how to take a little help with their 0-1 success at Le Havre, even if there is of course a lot to do to maintain a very tight ranking. But it feels good to get out of the red zone a little.
