FOOTBALL – It was not PSG's evening Tuesday evening in Munich. Defeated on Bayern's field 1-0 in the Champions League, the Parisian club also saw its president targeted by banners displayed by German supporters. As spotted Le Figarothey denounced in a long message the accumulation of mandates of Nasser al-Khelaïfi in the world of football, a person who according to them embodies the reign of money.
“Minister, club owner, rights holders, UEFA executive member and president, all in one”could we read on the banners hung very close to the field, next to a crossed out face of the Qatari leader. “ Is football me? »it was still written a little lower in French, before a scathing: “ f… off, ploutocratic Al-Khelaïfi ! ».

Progressive accumulation
Since 2011, Nasser al-Khelaïfi has been the president of PSG. He has also been chairman of the board of directors of BeIn Media Group since 2014, whose French version of the BeIn Sports channel broadcasts a Ligue 1 match every day.
The 51-year-old Qatari has also been a member of the UEFA board of directors since 2019 and president of the European Club Association (ECA) since 2021.
Since 2015, he has also been a minister without portfolio in the Government of Qatar.
Furthermore this week, in a case involving Nasser al-Khelaïfi, a Franco-Algerian lobbyist asked the courts to cancel an agreement signed in 2020 with the Qatari leader, by which he undertook to hand over all “confidential document” targeting him, believing that he had accepted under duress.
This agreement, signed on July 10, 2020, aimed according to the entourage of the president of PSG to prevent the distribution of stolen intimate photos; but according to Tayeb Benabderrahmane, it was a question of gagging him while he held political-financial documents “explosives”.
