And now the Brazilian has learned another bad news with a title which escapes him again.

Jude Bellingham, his partner at Real Madrid, was named best player in La Liga for the 2023-2024 season by the Association of Spanish Footballers (AFE). Recruited in 2023 from Borussia Dortmund, the 21-year-old Englishman impressed with his performances, scoring 19 goals and providing 5 assists in 28 matches. Undoubtedly a key player in the Merengues' conquest of the Spanish championship title. Bellingham, in a sober reaction, thanked his peers via video, without attending the ceremony in Madrid due to preparation for the crucial match against Liverpool in the Champions League.
This individual trophy reinforces the stature of the young prodigy but therefore continues to frustrate his teammate Vinicius. The latter, although author of a remarkable season with 15 goals and 6 assists in 26 matches, remains without major reward on an individual level. This choice, however, arouses less controversy than the awarding of the Golden Ball to Rodri, which caused controversy within Real who even decided to boycott the ceremony.
