The Champions League recently arrived at the halfway point and French clubs, like LOSC, are impressing French observers, including Adrien Thomasson, RC Lens midfielder.
Third and fourth with ten points on the clock, AS Monaco and Stade Brestois have already, according to predictions made at the start of the competition, validated their qualification for the play-offs. For its part, LOSC is fourteenth after having fought hard with Sporting CP (2-0), Real Madrid (1-0), Atlético (1-3) and Juventus (1-1), and can now look forward with ambition to its next European deadlines, which are easier on paper.

RC Lens midfielder Adrien Thomasson, who experienced a similar epic during the previous year, praised the great performances of LOSC and Stade Brestois in the Champions League since the start of the season: “It’s a great development and it proves that the French championship is increasingly competitive. Last year, to take our example, we had no inferiority complex even though we had no experience in the Champions League. There, it's the same for the people of Brest and even for the people of Lille who are having a superb run. This proves once again the quality of the workforce we have in France. There are a lot of clubs with very good players and we are frankly very well represented this season”he said during the month of November on the Stephen Brunch show.
