Undefeated in the league since the start of the season, the PSG U19s lost at home to Racing, runners-up to the Parisians at kick-off (0-1). In the ranking, the Ciel et Blanc team therefore takes control of the group, tied on points with its opponent of the day.
Deprived of his internationals, Thomas Leysalles has once again decided to make several changes to his starting eleven, notably starting a defensive quartet which had not been aligned together since September 8 (victory against Dunkirk 3-0).
The visitors dominated the start of the match like Ilies Ardjani who made Yanis Bastaraud suffer and found the post of the Parisian cages in the tenth minute. After a hazardous first outing by Martin James in front of Camron Eboa (38th), the Parisian goalkeeper did it again just before the break and injured the unfortunate Naël Bekta in the head. The referee logically whistles the penalty spot and Ilies Ardjani crucifies his former teammates (0-1, 45th). Reduced to ten, the Capital's players returned to the locker room with a score of 0-1 after a very complicated first half, particularly in midfield with a pair of Abdou Fanne Drame – Vainqueur Diyinu Nzinga in great difficulty.
Despite their numerical inferiority, the Parisians showed a better face in the second half like Mathis Jangeal, author of a great performance, or once again David Boly on his right side. As the minutes passed, the match became more and more choppy and the referee handed out no less than six cards to the Ciel et Blancs during the last quarter of an hour. Stoppage time was particularly tense, Paris pushed but Thomas Leyssales, excluded by the referee, saw his charges concede their first defeat of the season in the championship.
