Manchester City wants to shield Haaland

With such a proposal, Manchester City would have a good chance of achieving its goals, but one point remains to be resolved: the release clause. The clan Haaland wishes to include one, while the club would on the contrary want to get rid of it. The Mirror then presents a possible compromise between the two parties, namely increasing the release clause to 200 million pounds, or nearly €240M. If the transfer ofErling Haaland were to reach such an amount in the future, the former Borussia Dortmund would quite simply become the most expensive player in history, ahead of the two ex-stars of PSG, Neymar (€222M) and Kylian Mbappé (180M€).
