Coupe de France: when will Stade Rennes know their opponent for the 32nd finals?
As the 7th round of the French Cup takes place this weekend, Stade Rennes will still have to wait to get on the track.
Stade Rennes is having a very complicated start to the season marked by a non-participation in the European Cup, a first in 7 years. If in Ligue 1 the Rouge et Noir have been struggling since August, and have recently changed coaches, the French Cup is fast approaching and will be played earlier this year.
Draw on December 2, match on December 21
For the 2024-2025 formula, the calendar has been modified and the Ligue 1 teams will still enter the 32nd finals, but these will take place not at the very beginning of 2025, but on the weekend of December 21.
As the 7th round looms this weekend, when the Ligue 2 teams enter the fray, Stade Rennes will, like its Ligue 1 counterparts, have to wait until the end of the 8th round (November 30) to find out its opponent, during the draw scheduled for Monday December 2, 2024, at the Parc des Princes.
