New to the Blues, Lucas Chevalier is enjoying his first steps in Didier Deschamps' group peacefully, so much so that he sleeps like a baby.

“I was very pleasantly surprised by the welcome. I already feel very good here. I've only been here for five or ten minutes, but we feel a very good atmosphere”said Lucas Chevalier (23), who had just climbed the steps of Clairefontaine. All smiles, he followed up with a press conference then a hazing to the tune of the song “Sunlights of the tropics” by Gilbert Montagné. The LOSC goalkeeper took with him the entire locker room as well as the Blues technical staff.

“The integration happened naturally for the very efficient goalkeeper who capitalized on his confidence from the start of the season, as well as on relays and his strong links with his former teammate at Losc, Mike Maignan. Sincerely happy to be there, he immediately felt at ease with the group and is not at all out of place”writes
RMC Sport in recent hours, giving a complete update on the news of the France group as the duel with Israel approaches.

“Serious, we sleep well here (in Clairefontaine)”laughed Lucas Chevalier, one of the first to go on the tricolor bus to Enghien-les-Bains then the Stade de France for a final training session before France – Israel. In its usual formats, the Blues' communications unit takes us through their last training session during which the Dogue is like a fish in water, making a series of stops alongside Brice Samba and Mike Maignan.
