Olympique Lyonnais has just been sanctioned by the LFP Disciplinary Commission after the weekend's match against .

It is now time for the international break. But first, the Disciplinary Commission of the French Ligue 1 delivered its verdict on the various sanctions targeting the Championship clubs pending the resumption. Indeed, Olympique Lyonnais has had part of its stadium suspended.

Partial closure of the south stand of Groupama Stadium

On October 27, Olympique Lyonnais hosted AJ Auxerre (2-2) for the ninth day of Ligue 1. During this meeting, certain supporters of the Rhone club, to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the group 1950had demonstrated some behavior that went against the rules of the League. Meeting this Wednesday, the Disciplinary Commission of the Professional League (LFP) sanctioned the club by pronouncing a partial closure of the south stand of Groupama Stadium.

To justify its decision, the Disciplinary Commission cites the“use of pyrotechnic devices, throwing of objects leading to interruption of the match” OL-Auxerre (2-2). In fact, it was decided to “partial closure for a suspended match of the south stand of Groupama Stadium”indicated the Disciplinary Commission. OL can begin to tremble for the smoke bombs launched during the derby won against AS Saint-Etienne (1-0) before the international break.
