Note that we have chosen not to take on players who have collected less than three ratings since the start of the season (Aiki, Cornud, Fomba, Nzuzi, Tardieu). Ben Old is also excluded from this article, given the fact that he has not played a single match since the previous break and that he is announced to be unavailable for a long period.
Note also that the averages of Mathis Amougou and Aïmen Moueffek are somewhat truncated. Indeed, the two midfielders came off in the 30th minute during the disaster in Nice (8-0) and were, in fact, not noted during this lackluster meeting.
The Tops / Flops of ASSE by Peuple-Vert.fr
Among the best players (according to the editor's notes on the first eleven matches of the season), seven players (Old is not counted) obtain the average (5/10). There were only four of them during the last break (Aïmen Moueffek, Amougou, Ekwah and Old). Among them, Aïmen Moueffek and Mathis Amougou have respective averages of 5.3 and 5.1/10, but as mentioned above, these averages are truncated.
On the other hand, that of Benjamin Bouchouari is somewhat representative of the new face displayed by ASSE in recent weeks. The Moroccan midfielder has an average of 6/10 thanks to his three good performances in recent weeks (5/10 in Angers, 7/10 against Strasbourg and 6/10 in the derby). Louis Mouton, to a lesser extent, also made a good impression (average: 5/10) although he somewhat struggled with his derby (4/10).
Pierre Ekwah, Zuriko Davitashvili and Léo Pétrot, three of the strong links of this team obtain the average (5.0/10) despite a few gaps: 3/10 for Pierre Ekwah and 4/10 for Léo Pétrot in Angers, 4/ 10 for Davitashvili and Ekwah against Lens.
Gautier Larsonneur (4.82/10) is very close to average. After completely missing out on his match in Angers, Gautier Larsonneur delivered more convincing performances against Strasbourg and Lyon (6/10 in the two matches). Ibrahim Sissoko and Dylan Batubinsika are right on his heels (4.7/10).
Conversely, two players have averages lower than or equal to 4/10. For one of them, it is not a surprise, since it is Yunis Abdelhamid. The experienced defender, who arrived from Reims, was in great difficulty at the start of the season. He has the worst average with 3.4/10. The second player is Yvann Maçon. The versatile full-back has just returned from injury and has an average of 4/10, which is not very representative given his low number of matches (3). Cafaro. Aside from his performance and his goal against Lille (6/10) and two average matches against Monaco and Le Havre (5/10), the ASSE winger is far from having convinced the drafting of PV against Brest and Nice (3/10).
It is interesting to compare today's Tops and Flops with those designated after the previous truce. Ben Old was already part of the Tops after J3, just like Mathis Amougou and Aïmen Moueffek. Benjamin Bouchouari and Louis Mouton make their entrance. Pierre Ekwah, he falls back a little (from 5.25 to 5). As for the flops, Yunis Abdelhamid, Mathieu Cafaro, Dennis Appiah are still there. Yvann Maçon and Lucas Stassin make their entrance.
