The Disciplinary Commission of the Professional Football League met on Wednesday to decide on the various sanctions to be imposed following the latest matches in French professional football. This included Marquinhos, a 30-year-old central defender and captain of Paris Saint-Germain who received 3 yellow cards in less than 10 matches. He should therefore be automatically suspended for a match and the LFP decided to stay with this sanction without adding a match.
A logical choice, since there was no reason to remove the sanction, which is very rare. Nor to add more, because Marquinhos did not have bad behavior or gesture.
