The National U17s of AS Saint-Étienne hosted the Marseillais of Air Bel this weekend at the Michon sports complex. They won two goals to one but did not please their coach, David Le Moal.

Leaders in the ranking, the National U17s of AS Saint-Étienne were keen to consolidate this first place in Michon this weekend. A thing done thanks first to a goal of Rayan Aït Amer perfectly served by Mylan Toy (1-0, 22e). It is then Medhy Lutin Zidee who scores the break goal in the transition phase following a great ride (2-0, 82e). The Greens concede a penalty at the end of the match transformed by Arragonwhich does not prevent them from imposing themselves (2-1, 87e).

However, this victory did not fully satisfy the coach David Le Moal. As evidenced by his remarks at the club microphone: “Despite this victory, I was very disappointed by the entry. We were very fragile in everything. We didn't make a lot of effort and didn't put a lot of truth into this match. The opponent gave us problems but we were not up to the task. For young people in training, U17s who have to offer things, I find that we were a bit in an old-fashioned mentality, like in a Coupe de match, we were only concerned about the result.”

In the standings, the Greens remain leaders of their group.
