Last night was the return of the derby! At the end of the 11th day of Ligue 1, Olympique Lyonnais hosted ASSE in a particularly anticipated duel between supporters of both camps. And sporting logic was respected. The Gones finally won with a score of 1-0 but trembled against the valiant Stéphanois who could have hoped to leave the Rhône with a draw in a match marked by numerous homophone chants and as well as smoke bombs having forced to the referee to interrupt the match for more than five minutes.
A partial closed session?
The disciplinary committee will logically take up this matter, and the Lyonnais risk a lot. This is not the first time that a referee has stopped an OL match, this was already the case during the 15th anniversary of the Lyon 1950 group at the end of October. The LFP has the habit of handing out a fine when there are less than 50 smoke bombs, and partial closed doors when there are more. And even if the Lyon leaders have rather good press in the League because they regularly help to identify people blowing smoke bombs, as pointed out the Teamif we add the numerous homophobic insults, a partial closed session seems more than expected. It remains to be seen whether John Textor and Laurent Prudhomme can be convincing.

To summarize
The derby between Olympique Lyonnais and ASSE was obviously the scene of several homophobic chants as well as a major pyrotechnics show. Les Gones could host a match behind closed doors.
