ASSE places 4 Stéphanois in the French team!

ASSE will face this weekend in a derby which promises to be intense, before a calmer week. Indeed, the international break will begin after this weekend's matches, thus offering the opportunity to give way to the national selections and to change competition for certain Saint-Etienne players.

Ayman Aiki continues with the U20s

Ayman Aiki, who made his debut with the professional team in Ligue 1 this season, continues to benefit from the confidence of Bernard Diomède. Called up regularly for several months, he appears again in the list of the French U20 team, made up of players born in 2005. The French will play three friendly matches in Marbella (Spain): first against South Korea on the 14th. November, then against Denmark on the 16th, and finally against the United States on the 18th. This gathering will be a new opportunity for Ayman Aiki to continue his learning at the international level.

Amougou (ASSE) reunites with the U19s

A regular starter in Ligue 1 since the start of the season, Mathis Amougou has until now been playing as an upgrade with the U20 team. For this break, however, he will join his age category, that of players born in 2006. The ASSE player will travel to Scotland to play three matches: first against Liechtenstein on November 13, then against the Country of Wales on the 16th, before a final match against the host country. All matches will be played in the Scottish capital.

Camara et El Jamali in U18

In the 2007 generation, ASSE will have two of its players on the French team. The promising central defender Fodé Camara will indeed wear the blue jersey. Already summoned this season, he will have the opportunity to strengthen the confidence placed in him by his coach. As a reminder, he had previously been selected only with the France U16 team.

Finally, the second player is Nadir El Jamali. This talented attacking midfielder joined the U18 team of Morocco, his country of origin, during the last international break. France, obviously keen not to miss out on this young talent, is therefore calling him up for the first time. A great opportunity for the left-hander to demonstrate the full extent of his potential!

The two players will play two friendly matches against Turkey (11/13) and the Netherlands (11/16).
