Looking for reinforcements on the Botafogo side, John Textor could take advantage of West Ham's interest in Igor Jesus to recover Lucas Paqueta. The latter is still in the sights of English authorities for sports betting.
Over the course of three seasons, John Weaver managed to bring back Botafogo from the Brazilian D2 to the final of the Copa Libertadores. If at OL, the American is still far from unanimous approval, within the Carioca club, he has already succeeded in his mission. The highlight of the show will be to lift the continental cup next December and win the championship title, but the hardest part is likely to begin for Botafogo. Fogo's good season has logically attracted the attention of European clubs and certain elements should set sail during the winter. Thiago Almada is announced atOL, Luiz Henrique also, even if English clubs would be involved. This is also the case for Igor Jesus, the Brazilian striker, with an approach of West Ham according to The Sun. According to the British media, the Hammers would also be ready to include Lucas Paqueta to encourage the transaction.
