Holder of a Master's degree in international law, I realized at the end of my university career that it was important to evolve in a field that you appreciate. Overnight, I decided to put an end to my parents' dream, who saw in me a future lawyer, to make a living from my passion: sport. Since then, I have covered transfer windows and sports news, trying to keep readers informed as best as possible.

Arriving at PSG during the summer of 2023, Luis Enrique works in particular with those who manage the lower level, the U19s. Last season, the Spanish coach maintained a link with Zoumana Camara through Yohan Cabaye, recently promoted to director of the training center. From PSG, Camara returned to his relationship with the Spanish coach.

To complete his group, Luis Enrique regularly calls on young people from the training center. But this requires perfect understanding with the U19 staff. Last season, for example, he had to manage the desires to Zoumana Camara with certain frames like Senny Mayulu, Ethan Mbappé or Warren Zaire-Emery.

Cabaye acted as matchmaker

During an interview given to Club of Five, Zoumana Camara went back on its agreement with Luis Enrique at PSG. The technician did not speak directly with Luis Enrique, but with Yohan Cabaye, assistant sports director of the training center last season.

“The first team is the priority, but…”

« It was Yohan Cabaye and Luca Cattani who made the link. When I had special requests at the management level, I shared them with them. For example, last year things were going well. When we needed a player for Gambardella, we had them. The coach also has his problems so he can't give me more. So, the first team is the priority, but when it was playable, they played the game. We have to explain the why and how » confided Camara.
