Author of a brilliant start to the season, Bradley Barcola is gradually establishing himself as one of PSG's newest executives. Top scorer in Ligue 1, number 29 is however silent for the moment in the Champions League. Present at a press conference this Friday, Luis Enrique denounced the recurring criticism of his left winger.

He is one of the new darlings of Princes Park. Arrived at PSG coming from l’OL in August 2023, Bradley Barcola will have been one of the great revelations of the second part of the 2023-2024 season. Very appreciated by his coach, who notably preferred to leave him the left side of the attack and replace Kylian Mbappé in the axis, the French international still has room for improvement.

Great start to the season for Bradley Barcola

Despite a great start to the season in Ligue 1 with 8 goals in just 9 matches played, the number 29 showed clumsiness in the Champions League. However, nothing to worry about Luis Enriquewho was questioned about him this Friday. Present at a press conference, the coach of PSG denounced the criticisms sometimes expressed against Bradley Barcola.

“If he doesn’t score, someone else will”

“I don't know, I don't worry and I don't care. If he goes three days without it, it doesn't matter. It's an endurance race, a marathon. It's normal. If he doesn't score, someone else will. That's how a team works. The pressure must not be placed on just one player. What matters is how many goals the team scored.”said the Spaniard, relayed by the Parisian.
