The Greens slam Monaco!

The ASSE U17s host AS Monaco for an important match in their quest to maintain their leadership position after their great victory against Saint-Priest (2-1). Facing one of the best academies in , Nathan Mouton’s teammates will have opposition and will have to rise to the occasion. Here is the summary of this meeting before a mini-truce for the players of the Le Moal-Fauvey duo (in photo above).

The composition of the ASSE

Masse – Lengi, Kasia, N. Mouton, Lengue – Ait Amer, Traore, Charros – Nativoha, Epanya, Moulin.

Came into play: Toty, Touilleux, Jolivet, Aini.

Summary of the meeting

The match started in the best way: from its first opportunity, ASSE opened the score. Like last week, it was midfielder Aboubakar Traoré who, with a powerful strike, deceived the Monegasque goalkeeper. 1-0 after just 3 minutes of play!

The Monegasques react quickly by equalizing, but the Greens do not let themselves be discouraged. Noah Moulin causes a foul and obtains a penalty, which Rayan Ait Amer, in great form in recent weeks, converts. At the break, the score was 2-1 in favor of ASSE.

The second half offers an act where the Greens must manage their lead. Thus, the minutes that advance are beneficial to David Le Moal’s men! The visitors push and Masse is imperial in the goals. Final victory 2-1, the Greens will spend the short break at the top of the championship. A great satisfaction for our U17s!

Next match

While the school holidays have been in effect since this Friday, David Le Moal’s Greens will resume on Sunday, November 3 at 11 a.m. against the formidable Cavigal team. A perilous journey that will have to be negotiated carefully. As a reminder, the Greens are only one unit ahead of their next opponents (16 for ASSE against 15 for Cavigal Nice before this day).
