The ASSE U17s host AS Monaco for an important match in their quest to maintain their leadership position after their great victory against Saint-Priest (2-1). Facing one of the best academies in France, Nathan Mouton’s teammates will have opposition and will have to rise to the occasion. Summary of the meeting
The match started in the best way: from its first opportunity, ASSE opened the score. Like last week, it was midfielder Aboubakar Traoré who, with a powerful strike, deceived the Monegasque goalkeeper. 1-0 after just 3 minutes of play!
The Monegasques react quickly by equalizing, but the Greens do not let themselves be discouraged. Noah Moulin causes a foul and obtains a penalty, which Rayan Ait Amer, in great form in recent weeks, converts. At the break, the score was 2-1 in favor of ASSE.

While the school holidays have been in effect since this Friday, David Le Moal’s Greens will resume on Sunday, November 3 at 11 a.m. against the formidable Cavigal Nice team. A perilous journey that will have to be negotiated carefully. As a reminder, the Greens are only one unit ahead of their next opponents (16 for ASSE against 15 for Cavigal Nice before this day).
