This Saturday, at 7 p.m., ASSE will welcome RC Lens to the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium for the 8th day of Ligue 1 McDonald’s. Lens, one of the three teams still undefeated this season in the league, faces the Greens. A great customer for the people of Saint-Etienne. The atmosphere looks set to be warm in the Cauldron.
The match will be played at a sold-out Geoffroy-Guichard. Following the heavy rains which affected the region, certain roads are currently disrupted, making access to Saint-Étienne difficult. ASSE recommends that its supporters using these routes regularly monitor developments in the situation and respect the instructions of the Loire Prefecture.
Caution for supporters
For supporters traveling by train, the SNCF has already announced that the TER and TGV connections between Saint-Étienne and Lyon will be “unavailable for several days”. However, Châteaucreux station remains accessible via Roanne. No replacement bus is currently in place. Consequently, ASSE encourages its supporters to organize themselves to come to the stadium, in particular by opting for carpooling.
