Sur TV7, Cedric Boriethe President of CMO Bassens, confirmed that the match in the fifth round of the Coupe de France between his club and the Girondins de Bordeaux would not take place this Saturday.

Then, the President gave the reasons for the postponement which, contrary to certain information, are not due to the lack of will of the Scapular Club.
“In fact, there is the Earth Uprising, an anti-LGV association between Bordeaux and Toulouse, this weekend in Bordeaux, and the Prefecture has mobilized more than 400 gendarmes. They lack the means to come to the Girondins match, even behind closed doors.”
Cedric Borie confided that the match should be postponed at the start of the week, and that a decision will be made tomorrow on the venue. It could be at Matmut Atlantique if SBA puts its efforts into it, or otherwise in a neutral stadium behind closed doors.
