Donnarumma questioned, Dembélé “hoped for”

This Friday, October 4, the French press (on the sporting aspect) focused on Saint-Germain’s side on the latest errors of Gianluigi Donnarumma (25-year-old goalkeeper) during the 2-0 defeat against Arsenal (2nd day of the Champions League) which brings doubts about its place. There is also a word on the return of Ousmane Dembélé (27-year-old striker) in the group hoped for today whilehe was sick yesterday.

The Parisian –

The team –

We all make mistakes. But those at the highest level do very badly and the competition means that questions arise quickly. In the case of Donnarumma, this is also not the first time.

He has immense qualities on his line, but his fragility outside is starting to be heavy. Does PSG have a better option? Matvey Safonov (25 years old) and Arnau Tenas (23 years old) are perhaps more comfortable away from goal, except that they have so far been less efficient on their line. Rejected shots also count for a goalkeeper.

It’s difficult to have a doorman who can do everything. But it would really be beneficial if Donnarumma was a little less crumbly when it comes out. It’s up to him to redouble his efforts.

As for Dembélé, his return was delayed a little by illness. We hope he will be ready this Friday to join the group. There is a trip to on Sunday (7th day of Ligue 1) to prepare for an imperative victory before the international break.
