Attendance, result or championship, what are the minimum bonuses in Ligue 1?

Ligue 1 players all have bonuses in their contracts.

Professional football players in all have a fixed portion in their contract and individual or collective bonuses negotiated directly with the club that employs them. But there are also bonuses which remain essential and specific to all footballers in Ligue 1 or Ligue 2 (and National 1, in clubs which still have pro status), as provided for in the regulations of the Professional Football Charter.

€42 minimum for a player on the match sheet in Ligue 1

For example, for all matches in the championship or the Coupe de France, there is an attendance bonus that all players listed on the match sheet receive. Its amount is fixed at the start and for the entire season and is a minimum of 42 euros in Ligue 1, 28 for Ligue 2 and in National 1. As well as depending on the result obtained on the field, the payment of a premium may apply.

It’s 140 euros for a draw and double for a victory

For Ligue 1, the amount is a minimum of 140 euros gross for a draw and double (€280) in the case of a victory. Finally, the charter specifies that “the ranking bonus granted by the clubs ranked 1st, 2nd and 3rd in Ligue 1 Uber Eats must be distributed among the players in proportion to the matches played in the competition”. There is no amount stated on this.
