Pure cynicism. Mandated by FC Nantes for the sale of Emiliano Sala in 2019, former agent Mark McKay demanded and obtained a commission of €1.7 million on the transfer of the former FC Nantes striker. As revealed by the daily The Teamone of the sons of the Scottish agent Willie McKay – who had the exclusive mandate – recovered this sum, corresponding to 10% of the transfer price (€17 million). Despite the tragic circumstances, the Canaries had no legal means to oppose the payment of this commission.
