This Monday, the qualifiers for the next CAN continued with several matches. First, at the end of the afternoon, the Lions of Teranga won against Burundi by the smallest of margins (1-0), thanks to a goal by Ismaïla Sarr. In the evening, Morocco only managed to overcome Lesotho at the very end of the match (1-0). Dominant in the first half, the Atlas Lions pushed without managing to force the lock of a solid Lesotho in defense. Despite more than 12 shots and 79% possession, Walid Regragui’s men finally waited until added time to beat their opponents, with a superb goal by Brahim Diaz (93rd).
