Excitement builds, a few hours before the event. “I want to hold Antoine Dupont’s hand”exclaim the fifteen children from USAR, the Acigné Rugby club, east of Rennes, met during training.

In total, they are 24 young graduates to have been selected to be « escort kids » during the entry of the players of the XV of France and the All Blacks onto the pitch of the Stade de France, this Saturday, November 16, as part of their autumn tour.

A registration on the sly

“We were chosen with another club from the north of Franceso we will be mixed,” notes Samuel Papon, a parent of a young graduate, also responsible for communications for Usar.

It is one of their coaches, Gustave, who had registered the club on the sly with the French Rugby Federation (FFR). A paid choice. It only took a few weeks between registration and the big day.

And the parents will stay in front of their screen to watch the match and their toddler, the little players, will indeed be on the pitch. “ It's the best day of my life!“, assures Arthus, even before having had the experience, among the under 12s.

The match will kick off vers 21 h 05. The children will be present beforehand with the players for the singing of the anthems of two countries. TF1 will rebroadcast the match.
