Fiji did not reassure themselves against Spain but they still got the better of the “Leones” at the end of the match (33-19). The Flying Fijians were trailing until the 58th minute of play.

Spain missed twenty minutes of making history. The “Leones” lost to Fiji this Saturday as part of an autumn tour match. If the Flying Fijians won 33-19, Waisea Nayacalevu's teammates were trailing 19-7 in the 51st minute before coming back on the Spanish heels, on the hour mark, and regaining the score in the 64th minute . Especially since several Fijian executives were present in the country of Cervantes, like Waisea, Caleb Muntz, Jiuta Wainiqolo Luke Tagi, in the middle of a match which took place at the José-Zarilla stadium (26,000 seats) of Real Valladolid, a Spanish second division football team.
