The trial in Narbonne of Australian Rocky Elsom, former president of the RCNM, will not take place this Friday

The former Australian player, president of the Racing Club Méditerranée in 2015 and 2016, Rocky Elsom, who cannot be found to date, was found guilty on Friday, October 11, by the Narbonne court of forgery, use of forgery and abuse of social goods. He was sentenced to 5 years in prison and is the subject of an international arrest warrant.

Unsurprisingly, Rocky Elsom, who appealed, via a lawyer from the bar, his sentence to 5 years in prison, will not be judged this Friday morning.
It was surprising that a lawyer could file conclusions, transmit them and plead such a thick case within a month.
The civil party's lawyer, in this case the judicial liquidator of the RCNM, Me Patrick Tabet, has just learned at the end of the morning that he will not have to travel tomorrow Friday November 15 because the case will be subject of a referral request. The Elsom council has, in fact, made a request to open seals in order to collect defense elements.
It was therefore necessary to wait several more months to find out the possible outcome of this affair.
Turbulent fugitive, never shy of interviews in the Australian press, Rocky Elsom is not “housed” for the moment. He is trying to get through the international arrest warrant that was issued against him (the third since the opening of the judicial investigation).

Remember that the former Australian international is accused of having, in a few weeks, for his own benefit and for the benefit of fellow players, squandered the financial assets of the historic Narbonne club to the tune of €700,000.
