Everyone loves Antoine Dupont! The rugby player crowned at the Paris Olympic Games, considered one of the best players of his generation, is a discreet man. We don't know much about his private life or his habits, but a colleague of his spilled the beans about a party during which the 27-year-old totally let loose.
Gauthier Enfedaque, one of Antoine Dupont's best friends, was questioned by The Team. First of all, it was about training. During the long summer break and the player's vacation in Los Angeles where he had a blast, Antoine Dupont still had to keep in shape. “Antoine had to fit a training session into the day. A physical trainer contacted by his agent and who also acted as a physiotherapist was also there to support him. We had to do three bodybuilding sessions in the room of the hotel where we were, two training sessions in the park which faced the same hotel, and another on a real sports field, freely accessible, to work on real distances“, explained Gauthier Enfedaque.
If Antoine Dupont is by far a very serious person as his friend later confided, the champion also knows how to have fun but be careful, “it's always in control“. Well almost, as the rugby player then confides: “What if I've ever seen him drunk? Once, after his first French champion title in 2019, but it was exceptional. More recently, last May, I remembered him after Toulouse's victory in the Champions Cup. Everyone was celebrating. He was drinking cokes.” Antoine Dupont therefore broke down once and seems to have learned his lesson.
Antoine Dupont is also serious about business!
Serious about his image and his health, Antoine Dupont is also serious about business. At less than 30 years old, he already has financial assets worth several million euros. As specified Le Figaro a few weeks ago, he has become the darling of brands in recent years and has signed contracts with “Adidas, Danone, Carré Bleu swimming pools, Dewalt, flagship brand of the Stanley Black & Decker group, before becoming an ambassador for Louis Vuitton or the face of Audemars Piguet luxury watches”. A Dupont post on Instagram would be worth 25,000 euros”indicated Philippe Spanghero, director of the Team One agency. The latter added: “We can estimate that, between fixed contracts and bonuses for sporting success, he earns at least 2 million euros per year.”
