The M2 CS would make more than 500 horsepower?
Since the launch of the BMW M2, the German automaker has been steadily increasing its power. It went from 365 hp to 480 horsepower in the recently updated 2025 model. Soon, The M2 will break the 500 horsepower barrier for the first time. But this will be thanks to the launch of a new “CS” variant. BMW has been testing the first ultra-sporty version of the second-generation M2 for some time now.
The brand recently went to the Nürburgring to test a camouflaged prototype. While the new M2’s looks are controversial, there’s no denying that it’s a stunning sports car. But this upcoming version promises to be even better. It also feels extremely quick and agile through corners. Like the base model, the M2 CS will be powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder, but could develop between 500 and 525 horsepower.
