Football players from Swiss Young Boys, Austrian Salzburg and Czech Sparta Prague qualified for the group stage of the Champions League tonight, after their teams knocked out Turkish Galatasaray, Ukrainian Dynamo Kyiv and Swedish Malmo in the playoffs.

Young Boys, after winning 3:2 at home, beat Galatasaray 1:0 on the road in Turkey tonight.

The only goal for the guests was scored by Alan Virginijus in the 88th minute, which he celebrated in front of the Galatasaray fans, after which he was brought down by the home goalkeeper and captain Fernando Muslera, who received a straight red card for that.

The players of Salzburg and Dynamo Kyiv played to a draw 1:1, but the team from Austria advanced to the group stage of the Champions League due to a 2:0 victory in the first game.

The first goal of the match was scored by Adam Dagim for the home team in the 12th minute, and the final 1:1 was scored by Vladislav Vanat, a footballer from Kiev, in the 29th minute.

Placement in the group stage of the Champions League was also secured by Sparta from Prague, who beat Malmo 2:0 on their home ground, the same as in the first match played in Sweden.

In the 19th minute, Veljko Birmančević missed a penalty for the team from the Czech Republic, when he shot high over the crossbar.

Eight minutes later, Anders Kristiansen did not use the penalty for Malmo either, whose shot was saved by home goalkeeper Peter Vindal Jensen.

Local player Lukas Haraslin was accurate from 11 meters in the 80th minute, and three minutes later Albion Ramani scored for 2:0.

Galatasaray, Dynamo Kyiv and Malmo will continue the competition in the group stage of the Europa League.
