FIGAROVOX/CHRONICLE – According to a study published by the University of Chicago in May 2024, women would use ChatGPT less than men. For our columnist, many of them would have the good student syndrome.

A recent study conducted by researchers at the University of Chicago on the use of ChatGPT in the professional context highlights certain disparities according to the age, gender or even the profession of employees. At the risk of surprising you, women would use ChatGPT less than men, regardless of their age and profession. This seems to qualify the previously observed fact which indicates that women use technologies such as social networks more. We must wonder about the reasons for such a phenomenon which distances women from these new tools which nevertheless bring many opportunities… and the good student syndrome would seem to be one of the causes.

In this study, 100,000 employees from eleven different professions were questioned about their professional uses…
